Meet at Mt. Vernon WalMart SuperCenter located on the South side of the river in Mt. Vernon. Address for your GPS: 2301 Freeway Dr, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
[From northbound I-5 take Exit 227. End of ramp, left onto College Way, get in right lane quickly. Under freeway bridge, then right onto Freeway Dr. Walmart SuperCenter on left, look for the cool cars.]
Event check-in begins at 8:00 am. The navigators’ meeting begins at 9:30 and the first cars will be sent out shortly thereafter.
Please register on our PSMC web site so our club hosts know who’s coming. Note that does *not* register you for the rallye itself.
If you have never been to the Tulip Rallye, this event is a gimmick rallye where you drive an obscure course of back roads and answer questions about what you see along the way. Car with most right answers wins. No time/distance checkpoints, so anyone should be able to compete successfully. All you need is a sharp eye and a sense of humor. Bring your navigator with pencils! Speed is not recommended! Each car club that enters at least 5 cars will have a First Place finisher award. Be sure to specify the full name of our club (do not abbrev.) because the registrars are not familiar with all the clubs participating.
Both classic cars and modern daily drivers are all welcome to participate in this fun event while traveling over new routes (and the MG folks know some great roads for sports motoring.) The start/finish areas are also interesting car shows; usually over 100 cars enter the rallye.

Online or email registration is available on this link. https://www.mgccnwc.com/tulip-rallye/ Pre-registration is $25 for the event and $35 for day of the rallye. (Pre-registration closes on April 19.) For those who fail to complete the online registration on time, don’t worry! Day of rallye registration will available at the Rallye starting point. Please note that day of rallye registrations will not count towards club first place trophy counts. There are no refunds for registrations or regalia orders once they are received.
This year the Rallye is again supporting Food Lifeline, a charitable food bank that distributes food throughout the region. MG Car Club is asking participants to contribute $5 towards Food Lifeline during their registration process rather than bringing canned foods to the event as Food Lifeline can stretch their resources further by buying in bulk.
