Magical Forest Drive

We will meet at the Safeway in Lacey at 4700 Yelm Hwy SE. After a short driver’s meeting, we will depart at 9 am and head SE on Yelm Hwy. This drive will take us through forest lands, along several bodies of water, and past several small towns. Here’s a partial list of the towns we will pass through:

• Kelly’s Corner
• Skookumchuck
• Four Corners
• Rainier
• Bucoda
• Tono
• Offut Lake

We will take a leisurely pace, which should get us to the lunch stop at the appropriate time. Speaking of lunch, at the end of our drive together, you will have the option of sticking around for a group meal together. Our ending destination will be the Martin Village Shopping Center. There, we will have our choice of Main Chinese Buffet, The Rock Wood Fired Pizza, or Taco Bell. You don’t have to decide now. We can play it by ear and see how everyone feels that day.
