We need 6 cars to carry 6 girls for the Miss Viking Fest and Little Miss Viking Fest Royalty Court (from Poulsbo) in the Des Moines twilight parade.

Not sure what the theme of the parade is yet, but will post more information as soon as I can find it and have the time.

The Des Moines parade coordinator called up the Viking Fest people and begged them to enter again like they used to do several years ago.  They have changed the time of their parade and supposedly lots of other things that people who entered the parade were complaining about. (Just an FYI from the Poulsbo folks).

Meeting Place & Time

I'll be looking for an easy to find spot close to the freeway or main road on the way to the check-in point, hopefully with access to rest rooms, where all the drivers can meet first, then proceed to wherever the checkpoint is as a group.  Possibly a grocery store or fast food joint.

The Grand Parade is scheduled to start at 6:00pm, right after the Kids Parade which begins at 5:45pm.

Bring your camera and/or a chair, book, etc. to keep occupied until our section starts moving.
