Join us for a 2-day weekend event, about 300 miles total. Saturday we’ll start from the Olympia area and zoom many favorite back roads on the Washington side of the Columbia, making a lunch stop in Raymond, and finishing in Astoria. This is a semi-independent getaway.

Please make YOUR OWN HOTEL RESERVATIONS IN ASTORIA for the night of June 22, to your liking and your price point. (There is no designated “event hotel” for this run.) Suggest you book early because Astoria is a vacation “destination” and rooms go fast.

In Astoria there will be a debriefing happy hour and then you may choose dinner on your own or a group dinner at a charming Italian place. (Hosts can offer recommendations.)

Sunday morning after breakfast we’ll meet up at a convenient location and head east through the coastal hills on the Oregon side of the river. Drive will include a couple of scenic attractions, and a technical section driving the "Oregon Dragon,” a hillclimb road with 112 curves in 11 miles and a 1300 foot elevation gain and then back down again. We will cross the river back to Longview and disband so everyone can find their way home separately.

MEET at 9:15 AM and leave at 9:30 AM on Saturday June 22 outside Starbucks, 5312 Littlerock Road SW, Tumwater, WA 98512. Take exit 102 (Trosper Rd.) off I-5 and Starbucks is in the shopping center at the SW corner of the interchange.
*Note: this is the standalone Starbucks near Littlerock Rd., not the Starbucks inside a grocery store in the same center.

Hosts suggest you bring your personal rustic restroom supplies on this run as some of the pit stops along the routes are rather rural.

Do RSVP in advance on our PSMC club web site so hosts can contact you to make the dinner reservations.
