Well, since starting to collect Miatas in 2010 I have now crossed into the double digits. I now have ten. My latest one is my first new Miata, well almost new, a 2013 with only 4,800 miles on it, still has the new car warranty. A 2013 modified with $9,000 worth of performance upgrades right off the show room floor. True red, 18" 12 spoke mags, lowered, big racing brakes, spoiler, roll bar, seats changed to tan leather and a 5 speed. It's one of those cars that look like it's going 80 mph while standing still! Oh Ya, cold air intake, racing exhaust, coil over racing shocks and sway bars. Might have about 15 additional HP above stock. It is Red, Red, Red and stops on a dime. My 70th birthday present to myself, it's not until July 26th, but why wait!

Between myself and my brother in Denver we now have 17 Miatas!

Named this car "The Red Devil" after my old high school in Glendive, Montana. The Dawson County Red Devils.

     Chuck Price

    Chuck at the
    Holiday Party 2001
    we had a
    "Chuck Roast"
    in his honor

Fellow members, it is with sadness that I report the passing of one of our long time members and former president, Chuck Price. Chuck lived in University Place by Tacoma with his lovely wife Linda.

I remember Chuck as having such a great sense of humor and was a "we bit of a party animal." His Miata, The Green Hornet, was very well known around the Puget Sound and was often the winner of "Favorite Miata" at various gatherings.

Please take a moment to sign his obituary page: Chuck Price

Have spoken with Red Robin in Factoria/Bellevue about having a meeting at their location. They would be happy to have us. They have seating outside the restaurant within the mall which would be quieter than inside. Great food, good prices and great service.

Also, there is a Mexican Restaurant in the Factoria Mall southeast parking lot that could be considered as well.

Azteca in Kirkland would be happy to welcome us as well.

Please post your interests in sites in Bellevue, Kirkland, Woodinvillle, Everett etc.

The last PSMC Third Thursday Cruise-In of 2013 has been held, and Cruise-Ins for  January, February, and March 2014 have been calendared with new hosts and new  locations.

The event has evolved into a "moveable feast" so Miata  enthusiasts and guests can have more variety.  The first three Cruise-Ins  of 2014 will still be in the Tukwila area, but some active members are working  to have more similar events east and north of Seattle.

We are suggesting  RSVP on the club web site so hosts know who is coming each month;  drop-ins  are still welcome of course.

Hey, how about that party, huh?

Many thanks to Bill Bell, Mindy & Rory Bohnas, Ross Scott, Pam McGriff, Dee Dahlke, and Michael Springer for their work to put on such a fun event. The food was good and the prizes were great!
