Starting Point: MONROE OR LYNNWOOD

August 15  is  the Back Road trip to Concrete.  The Antique  Fly  In  .. This  is  a fun  backroads  adventure to  see  the  old  airplanes.  In addition to antique aircraft, food  vendors, a live band  will be on hand too.  Once we arrive, we can park our cars on the grass and visit with the owners of the antique aircraft, mix and mingle with other enthusiasts, and enjoy the day.

If you wish to leave from Lynnwood meet at 8 am: TAKE  Highway 5, TO EXIT 179/220 St., which is just a mile north of the Edmonds ferry exit. Next, turn a half-mile west onto 220. A Starbucks will be on the corner of SR 99. Continue past the Starbucks and enter the Winco parking lot and look for your party near the Starbucks at the back of the parking lot. Here you can fuel up with coffee and snacks and a driver's meeting. We will leave here at 9 a.m.

If you have a hand-held radio, please turn it to Channel 5.

If you would like to meet us at Monroe, we will meet at 9 am at  the  Wells Fargo Bank Lot  near Mc Donald's  and  Safeway,   Grab a beverage and bathroom break before we set out at 9 a.m. for  a  fun filled   ride  up  to  Concrete .  Several areas have a posted speed limit of 25 mph, so please observe these limits!

After a few hours at the airplanes, you may want to join others for a ride up to Baker Lake, which offers a great opportunity to take some good photos of Mt. Baker. There, we will have a restroom break and take a quick drive over the dam.

If you choose not to go to Baker Lake, you can go down the hill and make a left at the Stop Sign. Go left onto Hwy. 20 and motor down to Sedro Wooley to I-5 and find your way home.
