TWO LANES TO OREGON RETURNS FOR 2020

Your hosts are attending the Willamette Valley Miata Club “Explore Oregon 2020” meet at Welches, Oregon (Mount Hood) on July 16-19.  We’ll be zooming the back roads from Puget Sound area with an overnight stop near Yakima.  Any Miatas are welcome to join us.  Our drive will take favorite back roads,  three mountain passes, lunch at a roadside attraction, snacking at an elegant bakery, maybe wine or microbrew tasting stop, and arrive at Explore Oregon for the first night festivities.

REVISED START LOCATION:  The run starts Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Starbucks, 732 Shaw Rd., Puyallup WA 98372.  This is in front of the new Safeway at Shaw Rd. and E. Pioneer Ave.  Meet at 9:30 AM and leave about 9:45 after getting re-charged.

Make your own reservations for the Wednesday night stop.  There is no official hotel, but your hosts will be staying at Home 2 Suites by Hilton - Yakima Airport,   2420 West Nob Hill Blvd., Yakima WA 98902.

FRS walkie-talkie radios (not old CBs) suggested for this run and the event.  Rustic rest room supplies and in-car snacks are also suggested because some of this run is fairly remote.
